CONSTABLE TAX SALE APRIL 7, 2026 @ 10 AM



Payments

 All property sold from orders of sale or execution as judgment sales may be subject to a lien and the purchaser must be present at the sale to bid. All property is sold for cash; however, we will accept cashier’s checks or money orders made payable to Parker County Constable. Money is due no later than 4 pm on the date of sale. There will be no exceptions. We suggest that you bring several denominations of cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash, as we cannot accept a payment that is not in the exact amount.

 

Deeds

 Please be advised that if you purchase real property at a Constable’s Sale for delinquent taxes or other judgment sale you will receive a Constable’s Deed, which is without a warranty. 


The taxing jurisdictions and the Constable’s Office does not take possession, does not survey, and does not warrant or guarantee the title to real property sold at a Constable’s Sale. The taxing jurisdictions and the Constable’s Offices does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of any information regarding the property at the local appraisal district. Property is posted several weeks prior to the day of sale to allow any prospective buyer the opportunity to research title, or have a title company research the title to the property. 


There is a constitutional guarantee in the State of Texas that property purchased at a tax sale may be redeemed by the owner for a period of 6 months or 2 years, depending upon the status of the property. If the property is a homestead, mineral interest, or is used for agricultural purposes, the redemption period is 2 years. You need to satisfy yourself as to the redemption period on each individual tract of land. If the property is redeemed within the 1st year, the redeemer must pay the purchase price and any other property taxes paid by the purchaser and a redemption fee of up to 25%. If the property is redeemed within the 2nd year, the redeemer pays a fee of up to 50%. The redeeming party does not have to reimburse the purchaser for any improvements made to the property outside of those allowed by the property tax code. 


The opening bid at tax sales only, includes all taxes that were delinquent at the time of judgment. Additional taxes may also be due for years after the date of judgment. Additional taxes are the purchaser’s responsibility to pay. All properties sold may be subject to a lien and have additional taxes owed.


 It is the purchaser’s responsibility to make themselves aware of any and all matters, defects or conditions which may pertain to or affect the subject property. Properties sold at a Constable’s Sale are sold on a “buyer beware” and “as is” basis.

THE PRESENCE OF A PROPERTY ON A CONSTABLE’S SALE LIST DOES NOT CONSTITUTE PERMISSION TO TRESPASS ON THAT PROPERTY! 

 Personal Property

A Constable’s Bill of Sale will be issued to the highest bidder following the sale. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to file the Bill of Sale with the appropriate entity and to make themselves aware of any and all matters, defects or conditions which may pertain to or affect the subject property. All properties are sold on a “buyer beware” and “as is” basis. 


All property purchased at a Constable Sale may be subject to a lien and or may have additional taxes owed on the property.

 

Texas Rules of Civil Procedure 643 Goods and chattels pledged or mortgaged as security for any debt or contract may be levied upon and sold on execution against the person making the pledge, assignment or mortgage subject thereto; and the purchaser shall be entitled to the possession when it is held by the pledgee, assignee or mortgagee, on complying with the conditions of the pledge, assignment or mortgage.
