Justice of the Peace Precinct Two
Judge Kelly Green
Judge Green was duly elected to the office of Justice of the Peace for Precinct Two in Parker County and assumed office on January 1, 2011.
He and his wife of 25 years live in the Poolville area and have 2 children. He was educated at Texas Tech University graduating in 1988 with a B.A. in Psychology. Judge Green has been with Parker County since 1993. In his early career he worked as a bailiff, a Springtown Police Officer and an employee of the Texas Parks and Wildlife. Served 18 years as Chief Forensic Death Investigator where he received accreditation as a Board Certified Investigator through the American Board of Medico-Legal Death Investigators. An elite few to ever receive this coveted accreditation. In 2013 he was inducted into the College of Justice Court Judges, in recognition of his commitment of maintaining and enhancing his Judicial Education.
Judge Green is intricately connected to the Parker County community. He currently serves as a volunteer fireman, on the Board of Directors for Freedom House, Boy Scouts and Venturing Programs. He is a member of Central Christian Church and enjoys his role in community affairs.
Judge Green is committed to his position and continues to seek ways to positively impact the community. He is reaching out to our youth by participating in the Teen Court Program, which is a venue allowing young offenders the opportunity to resolve their issues using their most precious currency (their time).
Justice of the Peace: We are an independent branch of government constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of law and to protect the rights and liberties guarantee by the constitution and the laws of the United States and of this State.
